It would also work as a great way to set or even confirm appointments, especially since Twitter allows the sending of private messages.

The dental office also has a lot of marketing possibilities with Twitter. A dental office can send out a tweet in regards to specials, or if the office will be closed for the day, or even to introduce new dentists. A great marketing idea for a dentist would be to tweet out specials, for example, 50 percent off teeth cleaning. Both clients and businesses have a great opportunity using Twitter.

In dental marketing, like any other marketing, it is important to not annoy customers. It would be best to keep the posting to a minimum, lest the business may anger their customers. Dental social media is here to stay, and any serious dental office needs to have a Twitter account. Current customers appreciate the ability to communicate with Twitter.
