Tri-State Lock & Safe Company, Inc. was established in 1985 by Stephen Vasapolli. Before starting his own company, Stephen was a service representative for Mosler Safe Company in Woburn, Massachusetts beginning in 1978. He is also a master bank vault, safe and locksmith technician having worked with banks and major retail stores. In 1998 Stephen established Tri-State ATM, a division of Tri-State Lock & Safe Company®, Inc. Stephen recognized that the ATM marketplace needed a full-service ATM program to help business owners maximize their internal resources as well as profits. At the time, most ATM distributors were only selling ATMs, leaving a growing need in the industry for hassle-free ATM placements and ATM leasing that simplifies ATM management for business operators. Tri-State ATM realized that prospective customers were looking for an ATM business to provide turnkey programs with a full range of services including general operation, maintenance and technical support.
